You might have ever found yourself wondering "What body type am I female". Everyone has got different kinds of body shapes. Some are tall and some are short. Some have a small body frame while others are big-boned. But how will you come to know about your body type?

How will you Know Your Body Type?

Most people around the world do not know about their body types. For exploring out more is simply a matter of asking yourself a few important questions.

Start considering your physical appearance. Are you quite round, tall, lean or somewhat filled?

Succeeding, think about how your body reciprocates to nutrition and exercise. Like, Do you tend to gain weight easily or are not able to build up muscles?

If you want to let know, what body type am I, you would need to be honest with yourself. There are three human body types: the endomorph, the mesomorph, and ectomorph. At times, you might feel like you are not completely bound to one category or the other. The considerations like history, lifestyle, genetics and training style all play a part in how you look and you can change it over time. Many of us have certain tendencies toward one group or the other.

Overviewing different body types

Ectomorph
The persons who lie in the ectomorph category tends to be thin and attempts one or the other thing to gain weight as either body fat or muscle. Even after eating piles of food, they stay looking the same, although gaining muscular weight is their biggest objective. These people are known as hard gainers who always battle to gain muscle.

The physical appearance of ectomorphs tends to have a lean build, long limbs and small muscle bellies. Although ectomorph manages to put on some weight, they may still look skinnier than they are, especially in the calves and forearms.

Being an ectomorph person doesn't mean you are convicted to be weak. Though you can still get exceptionally strong, and you can be every bit as fit and healthy as someone who looks larger and more muscular.

Mesomorph
The mesomorphs tend to have a narrow waist, wide shoulders, relatively thin joints, and round muscle bellies. If you are a mesomorph, you have a natural tendency to be fit and relatively muscular. But there are chances that you may rebound from being out of shape more easily than the other two body types.

Endomorph
The endomorph persons tend to gain weight and keep it on. Their body is a little wider than an ectomorph or mesomorph, with a thick rib cage, wide hips, and shorter limbs. This statement does not mean that an endomorph can't be healthy. They can be as strong, healthy as the other two groups, and may have some strong advantages due to their additional muscle mass.
